Holiday Hot Cocoa Bar!

Snuggling up on the couch in a cozy blanket with a delicious cup of hot cocoa, a crackling fire and a good movie playing in the background is my everyday jam during the holidays & I enjoy every bit of that dreamy indulgence! ☺️

I don’t know what it is about the last few months of the year that just makes me want to indulge myself with good food, drinks and just generally be merry! 🤷🏻‍♀️ My food indulgences start during Diwali and go on till New Year. 🤭 It is a dangerous yet happy time of the year, and I love it! 😂

I guess we can restart our diets in 2021! 😉😄

Our coffee / cocoa bar area is that one space in my house I really enjoy decorating every season. I usually have a common coffee & hot cocoa bar set up during the holidays, but this year I decided to split them up and have them in different parts of the house to change things up a bit.

We normally have friends & guests over during the holidays but this year, it will just be us enjoying the hot cocoa bar… because 2020! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Our hot cocoa bar is themed around Santa Claus this year and I absolutely love how everything turned out. 🎅🏻 Here are a few tips to help you set up your own holiday cocoa bar!

1. Pick a theme (or not). You can go with a generic holiday theme as well.. whatever tickles your fancy! 😀

2. Gather your decor in one spot. It’s easier to play around with them and see what looks best in each area.

3. Get your cocoa bar essentials, toppings, sprinkles, etc and start adding them into canisters for easy access.

4. Add your favorite holiday mugs and enjoy making delicious hot cocoa during the holiday season! 😊

Here’s how mine turned out…

Most of the decor displayed above are either from Target or Home Goods.. and as you can tell, I have become a bit of a Rae Dunn collector these days & I don’t regret it. 😄

I truly love decorating my home and I hope I have inspired at least some of you to create your holiday hot cocoa bar this year. 🙂

Until next time… Happy Holidays!

See you in 2021! ☺️
