Amsterdam – This beautiful city of canals will forever be amongst my favorite cities in the world. From exploring gorgeous museums to cruising around the canals, from visiting Anne Frank’s house to seeing original Van Gogh paintings… Amsterdam was an absolute dream come true.

Athens – Visiting the historic capital of Greece is an absolute must for history buffs. We thoroughly enjoyed walking around this ancient citadel and learnt so much about greek history and culture while devouring the best food. 😋

B
Brussels – We explored the capital city of Belgium completely by foot and went where our hearts and feet took us. We devoured the best chocolates, frittes, hot chocolate and waffles and visited so many beautiful museums, cathedrals and palaces. Brussels was an absolute pleasure to explore. Not having a plan is sometimes the best plan!

Budapest – From the stunningly beautiful Hungarian parliament to the iconic Széchenyi chain bridge, from fisherman’s bastion to the beautiful Danube river, Budapest was gorgeous! We stayed in a hotel that overlooked the Hungarian parliament, Chain bridge and the Danube river, so we fell asleep and woke up looking at the gorgeous view from our bed… It was an unforgettable experience. ❤️

C
Copenhagen – Copenhagen is a vibrant Danish city with a laidback vibe, stunning architecture, history and culture. We spent a lot of time in Nyhavn, went on a canal cruise, ate amazing danish food and saw the little mermaid statue. A visit to the gorgeous Rosenberg castle and Christiansborg palace is also a must.

Cinque Terre – Cinque Terre will forever be etched in our hearts and mind. Picture us, sitting by the sea in moonlight devouring a plate of freshly made ravioli, waves crashing against the rocks below us and a cool breeze hitting our face. 😌 Sounds blissful, isn’t it? We sat by the sea till after midnight, took tons of photos of the seaside village and just experienced that simple moment to the fullest extent.

California – California is the most gorgeous and my most favorite state in the United States. From beautiful bustling cities to quaint coastal towns, from idyllic beaches to snowcapped mountains, there is just so much to see and do here. The beauty and excitement is not limited to the cities and that’s what I love about this state. We visit California every couple of years and explore new spots every single time.

D
Delft, Netherlands – Another beautiful city of canals situated in western Netherlands. We got a chance to see how Delft’s famous pottery is made, famously known as Delftware. They are hand-painted blue and white pottery which are expensive but extremely beautiful. We also explored the city center, ate great food and visited lots of gorgeous cathedrals.

E
Engelberg – Engelberg is a small alpine village in central Switzerland. Mt Titlis is it’s main attraction. You can take a cable car from Engelberg to reach the top of Mt Titlis. While going up the mountain, you will be surrounded by breathtaking panoramas, beautiful glacier lakes and the sound of cowbells jangling in the distance. It is an incredible place and experience.

Epcot – We had the best time in Epcot. You can literally travel the world and taste different cuisines from different parts of the world in one place. You can visit areas dedicated to countries like France, Italy, Germany, UK, China, Japan, Mexico, Canada, Morocco and so many more. You can even buy authentic souvenirs imported directly from these countries right in Epcot. I would have loved Epcot even more if they had showcased India amongst these countries too.

The Icelandic landscape is unique & incredibly dramatic with an ‘out of the world‘ feel to it. You will understand what I mean when you see it. You can explore glacier caves, walk around lava fields, swim in hot water springs, and get drenched under spectacular waterfalls all in the same day!

Prague sits on the Vltava river and is nicknamed as ‘the city of a hundred spires’. When in Prague, a visit to the Prague castle, Charles Bridge, Dancing house, Old town square and Lennon wall is a must.

U
Universal studios – Universal Studios is honestly my favorite theme park. I have been to Universal studios in Orlando & Los Angeles and I love Universal, Hollywood a bit more. It is the best theme park for adults. Disney is great too but I love universal a bit more. Plus, it has the Wizarding world of Harry Potter in it, what’s not to love! 😀 It’s an absolute treat to experience the world of Harry Potter and other areas like the Simpson’s, Jurassic park, Transformers, etc. My favorite was going on the studio tour where movies and tv shows were being filmed (Only in Universal studios, LA).

Ujjain – Ujjain is a historical city situated on the banks of Kshipra river in Madhya Pradesh, India. As per a 4th century astronomical treatise, Ujjain is geographically situated at the precise spot where the zero meridian of longitude & the Tropic of Cancer intersect. This is why it was considered the navel of the earth, and is called the “Greenwich of India”. If you ever visit Ujjain, don’t forget to visit the gorgeous temples, visit the Kumbh mela (organized every 12 yrs), explore Triveni museum, take a boat ride at Ram Ghat, shop at local markets and sample some amazing street food.

We visited the Chichén Itzá and a couple of beautiful cenotes located in Xcalacoop. It was a beautiful place with incredible history and culture.
